When paid plans start, existing users get clear notice well in advance and nothing is ever charged automatically; paid plans will begin with a 14-day trial, no card required.

Team is licensed by concurrent logins, not headcount. Everyone in the firm gets their own login. Any 5 of them can be signed in at the same time — it is never a fixed 5. A 12-engineer consultancy where 5 work at once pays for one Team plan, not 12 licences. Extra concurrent slots are $149/mo each.
